A10 uses the most advanced CPU activity algorithm to monitor your CPU power usage. The "CPU Activity score" ranges between 0 (no activity) to 10 (maximum level of utilization). The body of your iPhone/iPad will increase in temperature if the CPU Activity Score continues scores 10. It is a sign for you to close down your background apps in order to save both the CPU power and the battery.

After you leave A10, A10 continues to monitor your CPU usage of the background apps without slightly affecting the running of any other programs. The CPU activity score will show as an icon badge. A10 is a battery-friendly background monitor as it will automatically go to sleep after a fixed period of time.
